Fullblood Yearling Wagyu Bull
Here is a nice red colored Fullblood Wagyu bull calf born 4/20/17 being offered by my partner, Chris Rooney, and myself. Chris opted for my embryo partnership and has produced two nice red calves so far. See the pic of Chris with this bull calf’s full sister and note how well Chris cares for them. Obviously, the bull calf will be more like a puppy with this individual care. There are some outstanding genetics in this calf from its sire, a full brother to Red Galaxy, and it’s grandsire Kalanga Red Star. On the maternal side Umemaru red genetics and Yojimbo and Michifuku black genetics. The dam, “Gypsy” is a unique blond color which is the dilution factor that comes from red on black genetics. Note that the new rulebook of 2017 that any animal now born with this color are now not registerable as Fullbloods or Purebloods (a tragedy in my opinion, and seems to me the old mantra of “It’s what’s inside that counts” is better than to copy the Angus folks and concentrating on exterior color of only solid black or red but I digress). Gypsy has now become my biggest cow and is quite impressive in her width as well. Great conformation and believe her bull calf will be as well.
